HYMNS AND SPIRITUALS

When we look back on the last century, we can see the change in the music ministry to what has taken place in the church now, especially in the black church. Many of us from the older generation and those who have heard the old spirituals and hymns occasionally enjoy hearing some of those old songs. These were the songs that were prominent in the church for devotion and worship. These were the songs I learned to play and sing. So I have put together a few songs that some call “old-school.” Please check them out. The hymns are listed on this page, and I have some old-school songs listed on the following page. I hope you enjoy them.
